Semiconductors
Semiconductors are an essential part of modern technology. Whether it’s solar panels or smartphones, computers or vehicles, medical technology or robots, we find semiconductor components everywhere. They are an important element of today’s modern electronics. Their technologies allow us to control and regulate energy and calculate complex facts, for example. Semiconductors also produce light and colors.

Light Emitting Diode
LEDs, also called light emitting diodes, are electronic semiconductor components. They emit visible and invisible light. Light emitting diodes are used for rear lights in cars, for example.
MEMS sensors
MEMS (micro-electro-mechanical system) are very small components. They combine logic elements with mechanical structures in one chip. This is how MEMS are able to process mechanical and electrical information. MEMS sensors are installed in drones, for example.
Microcontrollers
Microcontrollers are microcomputers that map other important components added on a chip besides the processor (“one chip system”). Microcontrollers are optimized for various control and communication tasks.
For example, microcontrollers are installed in control devices for ABS in cars.
