28 new trainees started at Rutronik this year. An exciting start to their vocational training was on the agenda for the newcomers.
The first day began with a warm welcome from Jeremy Westphalen and Noelle Kugel, who welcomed the new additions to the company.
Before the first presentation on the company's history began, four trainees and dual students from higher years gave the new arrivals a tour of the company buildings in Ispringen. The first day ended with a training rally, in which various games and tasks required team skills and getting to know Ispringen.
Day two started with the introduction of the training mentors. They accompany the trainees and students throughout the entire training duration and are always on hand with help and advice. In addition, various managers provided insights and background information on the business model of component distribution. In the afternoon, the entire warehouse in Eisingen was inspected in all its size and complexity.
The next morning, the day began with IT security training. The topic of business etiquette was then presented and various points on communication, etiquette and behavior were worked out in groups. The subsequent presentation of the Global Marketing Communication department provided insights into the diverse activities in this area.
The last two days were devoted to team building. The group went to the Schloss Flehingen, where everyone got to know each other better and discovered the strengths and weaknesses of working in a team. The highlight was the BBQ in the evening and the crowning finale, a joint graffiti workshop. In small teams, everyone was able to express themselves on a shared canvas and paint their expectations, wishes, concerns and ideas about vocational training at Rutronik. The last day of the induction week came to an end with a colorfully painted canvas. After arriving in Ispringen, a little exhausted but still well prepared for the start of their training, everyone returned to their everyday lives.
