The first clue that the apprentices and students of Rutronik Elektronische Bauelemente GmbH were given for this year's trip, caused a huge stir: the approximately 40 participants were going to head towards Freiburg by bus in the morning and after two thirds of the way there, take exit 57b to reach their destination.
“That was the first clue we were given about this year's apprentice and student trip. We soon realized that we were going to Europa Park,” Lisa explained.
The trip to Rust started early on Tuesday morning at 7.15 a.m. at the main building on Industriestraße 2 in Ispringen. After almost two hours of driving, the group reached their destination - Germany's largest theme park. The apprentices and students set out in small groups to ride the highlights, such as the “Bluefire” and “Silver Star”.
Everyone met for a lunch break at noon. “Everyone was free to spend the rest of the day watching shows and riding roller coasters. Thanks to the good weather, we didn’t mind getting wet on one or two attractions,” says Lukas. “Our personal highlight was the newly opened “Voletarium”. You get the feeling of being on a scenic flight over Europe in a really impressive way,” explained Marcel. After a group photo, we headed back to Ispringen at 6.00 p.m.
