A total of 370 companies and vocational training centres from across the entire Karlsruhe region took part in the ‘Einstieg Beruf’ fair in Karlsruhe on January 18, 2020.
The exhibitors at this free-entry event presented over 180 training occupations in the fields of industry, retail, health care, services and trades. In addition, educational institutions and agencies provided insights into secondary school qualifications, graduate courses and further education opportunities.
This year, Rutronik was represented by the graduate students Laura Sommer, Tim Roos and Nicolas Klinge, the trainee Lena Dettinger, and Sarah Sievers and Holger Hary from HR Development.
Rutronik’s stand quickly attracted significant interest from visitors. Each of us had the chance to answer the many questions from curious parents and students alike and to tell them all about our own experiences from the vocational training courses and dual study programs.
The graduate student Laura Sommer (Business Administration-Trade) also had the opportunity to invite young visitors to participate in her survey, which was specifically directed at Gen Z'ers.
By 2pm all the giveaways had been distributed and the exhibition hall began to empty.
The fair not only gave us a chance to experience something new and different from our everyday surroundings but was also great fun. We hope to receive lots of applications!
