Having a coffee with …Tim Roos

Tim Roos has been part of the Rutronik team since October 2019, commencing his professional journey as a dual student. In his current role as Solution Business Development Manager, he is responsible for skillfully combining technical innovations with sales expertise. Tim creates a connection between innovative technologies and customer-focused sales.


What characterizes your job?

My role in sales of our in-house development kits at Rutronik means that I am in constant contact with colleagues, customers and universities. Our common goal of increasing sales growth knows no bounds. We have already realized several projects, including the creation of a demo case, an innovative interactive presentation and even the development of our own Rutronik app. I personally present these innovations at customer visits and international trade fairs to demonstrate their versatile application possibilities and to introduce our products in the best possible way. 

What was your dream job when you were a child?

I was passionate about racing and wanted to become a racing driver. As a child, I was often on the go-kart track and still have a lot of fun practicing this hobby.


What do you particularly like about working at Rutronik?

The atmosphere at my work at Rutronik is characterized by extraordinary helpfulness and friendliness. For me, the main focus is on communication at eye level, where your own ideas are not only heard, but also often implemented. My experience here has shown that this actually happens in 99% of cases. It's great to be part of a team where cooperation is based on understanding and mutual respect.
